Since last I posted we have travelled to San Diego to attend a wedding, a double wedding at that. My sister in-law and our niece decided to use the opportunity, since the whole family was gonna be together, and both marry the love of their lives. It was certainly a family affair, we all helped to cook, and decorate, making flower arrangements, bouquets, to do the make up, the music entertainment and much more. The food was awesome and the company even better.
Before we left I had decided to do a mini course I had with Aromahead , how to protect your family from colds and flu with essential oils. I got some great recipes for inhalers, lotions, bath salts, and shower melts. I made master blends that I can just add to my inhalers or lotions etc so when in need it wont take too long to access it. My decongestant inhaler is a life saver right now.
I also bought a really awesome loose leaf tea from Jade Bloom , the Immunity tea. I want to go back and get a bunch more tea blends. Next I needed to go buy some elderberries to make a syrup, and luckily I have a great store only 10 mins from our house that have all the berries and herbs I need.
I have also been taking herbal classes through Joybilee Academy and so I had an assignment to make an herbal infused headache salve with essential oils. I don’t tend to get many headaches so I’m not the best one to test it on, so I have no idea if its good or not 🙂
Now I’m back to my certification class and I had a blending assignment, to make a flu blend. I studied the oils, decided which oils I wanted to use, got my empty bottle and carrier oil, and got started. I had everything lined up, paper ready to write my recipe on and then boom I elbowed the carrier oil onto the floor. So now I have a very clean and slippery patch on the floor around me 🙂
Well I promised my girls I’d take them to Michaels to get some crafting supplies, so off we go.
God Bless ❤
